COVID19 tests at PHC’s in Patna

Patna 22nd July,2020.COVID19 tests have started in 25 PHC’s in urban Patna. District Magistrate Ravi Kumar instructed the Civil Surgeon and administration to ensure more testing facilities to Patna residents. Out of 444 antigen tests and also thermal scanning 108 people tested positive in Patna. 336 other were negative. The overall situation is bad at Patna but several people are recovering or recovered fully which raises hopes that things are going to improve in the coming months. However with more than 1500 people testing positive today the lockdown may be further extended. The testing facilities at PHC’s will be a great help to Patna residents who are facing difficulties due to limited healthcare facilities at government hospitals during the COVID19 pandemic.
